All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

(Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Burmese)

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.

Article 9:

Those who have the kindness of benefit for others

For the sake of living beings, do not relax their powers.

Though these holy beings bear a heavy burden,

They never put it down and dwell in discouragement.

*the Great Chariot Sutra*

Burma is known as a golden land made of several ranges (or ‘Yoma’ in Burmese) where thousands of tribal memories, wisdoms, religions, cultures and beauties of plants and animals dwell. The rivers, all of them are indeed important to the people and other existences, snake through these beautiful mountainous regions and flow from the north to the south where Indian Ocean is. The peoples, Burma has 103 ethnics, all of them used to be really generous and all they knew was to give.

Since the modern day’s dictators have systematically destroyed, now the golden land is famous for its narcotic trades, refugees, migrant workers and various atrocities and sufferings.

One day, we’ll be free again and the land will be again famous for its beauty.

A Stray-cat Story here with me!
*
In Thailand It was...;
Black kitten I found a tiny male
Some fish an’ chicken I gave it
Made it strong like a right batman
And let it roam as cat would in nature –
Making plentiful kittens – he the father!
Many more blackish kittens – I wasn’t able to see them all!
Glad then I Was! Yeah! Just go out an’ make kittens more!
**
Two white kittens
Ran an’ hid from me – chicken!
The mother cat, white too,
Came and asked for food – adapted
Fed cat food
Just grew up – hot bonfires
So soon so quick arrived in first fast fiery season
In love-making – love is for every catman!
Two white bellyful kittens – runnin, runnin
When one reached the horizon – her belly deflated!
And the mother too created the mixed coloured four!
The neighbour said ‘cat farming’
The other kitten still keeps runnin!*
But they aren’t even one year old!
And they’re gonna live nine years more?
***
15 years ago In Thailand
I was found of cats quite strong
A perspective of mine weren’t wrong
Now too many kittens surrounding me...
Two more on a roll mothers to be
How’s the cat population supposed to be?
****
What’s wrong with pregnancy?
Mankind we have no idea how growth should be!
For cats, then I’m not writing a moral song!
Ha-ha! The Neighbours will feed them now!

* I think she's seen her kittens already. I haven't seen her since this morning - she didn't come for food.

14/10/2010: there are 8 kittens, 2 are really cool. the mother has 4 and now she also has 4 granddaughters.
